Meshell McGee-Hill, Counselor, MA

I am a behavioral health professional with more than 15 years of experience dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. I believe that meaningful change begins by creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered. My approach is grounded in meeting individuals where they are while helping them recognize their strengths, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward greater emotional wellness and personal growth.

My journey in behavioral health began working in a group home setting, where I gained firsthand experience supporting individuals with complex emotional and behavioral needs. Throughout my career, I have continued to grow both clinically and professionally, serving in roles that have included group facilitator, utilization review coordinator, pediatric behavioral health manager, and other leadership positions. I currently serve as a Clinical Manager within a healthcare facility, where I provide clinical leadership and support the delivery and coordination of behavioral health services.

My professional experience has allowed me to work with diverse populations across various levels of care and has strengthened my understanding of the importance of individualized, culturally responsive, and compassionate behavioral healthcare. I have a particular passion for working with children, adolescents, and families and for helping individuals recognize that their current circumstances do not have to define their future.

I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in 2018. In addition to my professional work, service and community involvement are important parts of who I am. I am a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, as well as other community-focused fraternal and service organizations. Through both my professional career and community involvement, I remain committed to advocacy, service, empowerment, and creating opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.

My goal is to continue creating spaces where individuals can experience healing, discover their strengths, develop a greater sense of purpose, and work toward becoming the healthiest and most authentic versions of themselves.
